Knights of the Star Cross Order

KNIGHTS OF THE

STAR CROSS ORDER

We proudly acknowledge that individuals in our kingdom are the rightful successors of the medieval Order of the Star Cross, established in 1022. We humbly continue its legacy, traditions, and aims.

History and Traditions

The order was founded in 1022 by the French King Robert II (sometimes referred to as Robert the Pious or Robert the Wise), who collected church hymns. Collecting is still a prerequisite for becoming a Star Cross Knight. All members of the order must be of the Christian faith. A senior member must recommend new apprentices to become a knight of the first degree.

Degrees of Knighthood

First degree: Apprentice

Second degree: Companion

Third degree: Master

Fourth degree: Knight
